El Salvador Chapter

The El Salvador Chapter of the AHPBA/IHPBA was created in 2017. This project was initially conceived during the 2015 meeting with the unconditional support of Dr. Javier Lendoire. With the idea in mind and the support of national colleagues interested in HPB diseases and with particular interest in the development of HPB surgery, the National Chapter started to grow until it was finally created. The main objective of the Chapter is to stimulate HPB surgery and the study of HPB diseases in the country with the support of the Americas and IHPBA Chapters. We are convinced that teamwork will contribute to solve HPB problems and increase the adhesion of new members interested in this area and continue to grow as a Chapter.

El Capítulo de El Salvador de la AHPBA/IHPBA fue creado en el año 2017. Este proyecto fue inicialmente concebido durante el año 2015 con el apoyo incondicional del Dr. Javier Lendoire. Con la idea en mente y con el apoyo de colegas nacionales interesados en la patología HPB y en especial en el desarrollo de la cirugía HPB; fue como el Capítulo comenzó a crecer hasta que fue finalmente creado. El objetivo principal del Capítulo es estimular la Cirugía y el estudio de enfermedades HPB en el país con el apoyo de los Capítulos de América y de la IHPBA. Estamos convencidos que el trabajo en equipo contribuirá a mejorar los problemas HPB y a reclutar nuevos miembros interesados en esta área y así continuar creciendo como Capitulo.
