The West- East Balkan Chapter includes Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Republic Srpska-Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Federation-Bosnia and Herzegovina, and FYR Macedonia. 

The founding meeting was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 16th and 17th of March during the 1st HPB Ljubljana Symposium.
