The West- East Balkan Chapter includes Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Republic Srpska-Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia. 

The founding meeting was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 16th and 17th of March during the 1st HPB Ljubljana Symposium.
