Brief History of the Chapter

CALGP is a working group occupied with studies in HPB surgery in Germany under the umbrella of the German Society of General and Visceral Surgery. Its activities include:

• Quality Assurance in HPB Surgery
• National Certification of Centres of Competence, Reference and Excellence
• Conducting multicenter Studies
• Promoting professional education in HPB Surgery
