HPB - Impact Factor 2.918

The editorial team are delighted to announce that the prestige of your journal,  HPB, continues to rise! The 2015 impact factor has risen from 2.675 to 2.918. This has taken the journal beyond many long established surgical journals and places HPB at 38/199 in the surgery, and 33/78 in the gastroenterology and hepatology journal category. This is a considerable achievement and reflects well on the contributors to the journal, our hard-working reviewers and the Editorial Board. Despite consecutive annual rises since the current editorial team secured the Journal’s first impact factor, we appreciate that we cannot be complacent. We urge members to always consider the Journal as the ideal home for their best work in their specialty practice. The Journal and myHPB represents an excellent forum for education and continuing medical education. We look forward to further consolidating the position of the Journal in the coming year and welcome any suggestions on improving your Journal.
