International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association
HPB Editor-in-Chief Elect
IHPBA is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Jean-Nicolas Vauthey as the new Editor-in-Chief of HPB. Dr Vauthey will take up this position when James Garden, our current Editor-in-Chief, steps down from the role in December this year.
The Association and specialty have benefited enormously from the leadership and vision that Professor Garden has demonstrated during his ten-year tenure, and during this time he and his editorial team have overseen the growth of HPB as a vibrant, widely read publication with a growing impact factor.
Dr Vauthey is one of the most respected and widely published surgeon scientists in the HPB research community and has held positions on the editorial boards of many major surgical journals. He will lead the team of editors and work with the editorial board to further develop and strengthen the position and global reach of HPB moving forward.
IHPBA would like to welcome Dr Vauthey as Editor-Elect and wish him every success in his new role.
