Medbook for IHPBA

IHPBA Education and Training Committee have been collaborating with Medbook over the last 4 years to develop ‘Medbook for IHPBA’.  This is a centralised case log, training, evaluation and accreditation tool kit within a web-based mobile platform which can be utilised internationally.

The aim is to develop a resource available to programme directors to allow for the collection of standardized case experience across the globe, and to provide a web/app-based tool which allows for seamless evaluation of the fellow, the faculty, and the program. These tools can then be utilized by regional chapters as they develop local accreditation standards and processes.

The tool in currently in the pilot phase accross our three regions, with the aim of rolling this out as a new member benefit for trainees/fellows in recognised HPB fellowship.
