Brief History of the Chapter

HPBA CIS is a professional association, which unites more than 500 HPB specialists and has its branches in many regions of Russian Federation and CIS countries. The association holds annual Congresses named Actual problems of HPB surgery? with up to eight hundred participants. In addition, several times a year HPBA CIS organizes smaller-scale thematic plenary sessions. HPBA CIS also publishes quarterly Annals of Surgical Hepatology (a thousand copies).
